Information Session- SB326: MHSA "Modernization"

Monday July 24, 2023 Cal Voices is giving information about the impact of SB326 on the behavioral health system if the legislature passes it and the voters approve on the March 2024 ballot.

Governor Newsom wants to expand housing but it's going to mess up the MHSA the way it's written now in describing "Modernization".

• SB326 will change the way services are developed, delivered, and assessed.
• Abandons the original purpose of the MHSA disrupting services for people with mental illness.
